The primary way God provides for us is through the ordinary means of time, talents, and treasure. Giving to support God’s work is an ordinary means of expressing gratitude.

Genesis 14:1-24 – ABRAM RESCUES LOT and TITHES TO MELCHIZEDEK: Abram used the resources at his disposal to rescue his nephew Lot. As a result of his labors Abram grew in wealth. Abram recognizing God gave him this ability gave ten percent of his gains to support God’s work.
