God is working out his plan in spite of us and our failures. (It’s a gift!) The only appropriate response is gratitude and worship (resting in what he has done/is doing).

Genesis 11:27-12:8 – THE CALL OF ABRAM: God purposes to bless the quite sinful (see Genesis 1-11) nations through Abram. (A sheer gift!) Abram’s response is to build an altar to God for the purpose of worshiping him.
